Generate cool and memorable nicknames with wings, stars, and bold typography.
Discord display names, server nicknames and Steam profile names allow 32 characters and accept any unicode, which makes them the roomiest name fields around. Long frames (clan wings, the Egyptian-hieroglyph phoenix wings 𓆩 𓆪, the double-bracket styles) fit with space to spare, and the interleaved styles that put a symbol between every letter work here when they would never fit a 12-character game field. Discord clips stacked combining marks to the line, so even zalgo is allowed. The trade-off is legibility in the member list, which is small: heavy alphabets stay clear there, fine ones do not.
The same name has to shrink for a mobile shooter. PUBG Mobile allows 14 characters, Free Fire 12, and both block combining marks and most emoji. The approach that works is to keep the alphabet and shorten the frame: a Discord name in bold fraktur with full wings becomes the same bold fraktur with lenticular brackets in Free Fire, and the two still read as the same person. The count under each row is the number to check. If the core name alone is over ten characters, no frame will fit in Free Fire, and the styled letters carry the look on their own.
32 characters, for both display names and server nicknames, and any unicode is accepted. That fits every frame in the list.
Keep the alphabet and swap the frame for a shorter one, lenticular brackets cost four characters against six for wings. If the core name is over ten characters, drop the frame entirely.
It truncates long names in some list views. A 32-character name with a long frame may be cut in the friends sidebar while showing fully on your profile.
