The definitive font generator for Instagram creators, influencers, and aesthetic brands.
Instagram has more text fields than it looks, and they do not all follow the same rules. Captions are capped at 2,200 characters, comments at the same, highlight titles at around 16. Instagram: bio 150 characters, name field 30, @username letters, digits, dots and underscores only. Every one of those fields accepts styled unicode except the @username. Search covers the name field and bio in plain characters only. The bio collapses blank lines unless an invisible character holds them. Those are the constraints, and every choice about styling an Instagram profile is a choice within them. The tool does not know which field you are pasting into, so the character count under each row is the thing to check against the budget for that field.
Start with the name field: 30 characters, searchable, shown bold on the profile. Put your searchable name here in plain text, or a styled short version if you are known by a handle people already recognise. Then the bio's first line: styled, 15 to 25 characters, this is the visual signature. Then plain lines for what you do and where, which is what search matches. Then a divider and a call to action. Preview each styled piece with the phone icon. Paste the pieces into Instagram in order. If blank lines collapse, put the Braille blank ⠀ on them. Total stays under 150 with room to spare.
The name field, bio, captions, comments, highlight titles and story text. The @username does not. It is limited to letters, digits, dots and underscores.
Press the phone icon on any result row. It opens the text in a mock Instagram profile header at the app's real size and weight.
150, with emoji counting as two and every styled letter or frame symbol as one. The name field is a separate 30-character budget.
